We wish to bring to your attention that effective July 15, 2021, it is imperative to submit a pre-declaration to the Customs Department regarding any merchandise destined for the port of Aqaba. This declaration must be made at the moment the goods depart from the port of origin and prior to the vessels entering Jordanian territorial waters. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in legal liabilities or financial penalties.
